Resilience is the key to successful teaching, to handling whatever comes your way so that you can adapt to the needs of each and every learner. In this time of uncertainty brought on by Covid19, many of us are being challenged in ways we never imagined. The demands on educators in today’s learning environment are unprecedented. Join Sheila Caldwell and Amanda Cooney, co-owners of Anānda Yoga and Wellness, as we explore tools to reset and recharge, helping you to destress and to establish an easy do-at-home routine for a healthier more mindful you.
Each week will be based on a theme that links all weeks. Practitioners will journal/sketch/discuss; practice yoga and breath work; explore meditation, and have a chance to ask lots of questions. Yoga sessions and breathing exercises will be easy to follow and sequences will be emailed to participants after each session to incorporate into a home routine. The final week will include a Circle of Life activity to examine areas in where life might be out of balance. The session goals are to help destress and establish an easy home wellness routine.
Amanda and Sheila are available through the studio for any follow up inquiries. We offer a wide array of in studio and virtual yoga classes and wellness related workshops. We also offer on line wellness coaching and have self-paced, group, and 1-1 options available.
