Description: You are invited to a party! Through direct interaction with a number of virtual tools and strategies followed by a debrief of the experience, you will learn how to plan and implement successful online parties with your students. During the Spring of 2020, we hosted a number of student-centered celebrations, including a 10 year anniversary party for the K-8 students, alumni, teachers, and families from the Outer Islands Teaching and Learning Collaborative and a MAP scholarship induction and graduation celebration for high school juniors, seniors and their families. We will share party planning tips and platforms from these virtual events as well as ways to use fun engagement opportunities like parties to deepen relationships and strengthen connections through shared experience.
